Known Consignor
(KC)
Since 2013, known consignors in Europe have required an official approval (DVO) (EU) 2015/1998 ff. by the respective responsible aviation security authority.
The prerequisite for this is the in-house implementation of a security program (known consignor security program) and the certification audit by the authority (e.g. Federal Aviation Authority).
